Introducing Millie

Millie Davies is a 21 year old artist living between Penrith and London. She is currently in her last term studying Fine Art and History of Art at Goldsmiths University of London. She has an excellent knack for philosophy and has a tremendous skill when it comes to painting. Her dynamic pieces are influenced by her environment in particular the beautiful scenes of the Lake District. Millie focuses specifically on the idea of decay, she lets the paint have a rejected agency, allowing it to drip and merge on its own accord. Check out her article for Goldsmiths Leopard and Instagram if you're intrigued about her unique style of painting.

Alongside this Millie has a real talent when it comes to makeup, she transfers her skill from the paint brush to the makeup brush. Her looks are bold and unmissable, with her pigmented lips and use of blending a variety of shades to create the perfect smokey eye. I will be doing a feature on both her makeup and painting skills soon, keep an eye out!

Today Millie is wearing two outfits I have styled focusing around the ripped fishnet trend, which is everywhere at present, emerging out of rips in jeans, under t-shirts or just worn in the traditional sense. The fishnets, bold smokey eye, leopard print skirt and black jeans seen below mixed with Millie's favourite trend the 'Pink Aesthetic', gives these more girly pieces an edge. Keep revisiting to see some more looks on this young creative.
